Maria Callas and Rufus Wainwright
Rufus Wainwright’s first opera, inspired in part by Maria Callas.
This weekend, inshallah, I shall at long last see and hear Prima Donna, the first opera by Rufus Wainwright.

Along with Paolo Conte, Gianmaria Testa, and Leonard Cohen, Sancta Rufola is my favorite singer-songwriter.
